DAD Joe Jackson has sparked a series of family rows by attempting to take control of Michael's funeral arrangements - and pushing for a THIRD autopsy on the star.
While the grief-stricken family have put on a united front for the TV cameras, behind the scenes tension at the family's £1m home in Encino, California, reached boiling point.
Furious Joe, 80, blew up after Michael's lawyers revealed he had been ditched from the singer's will. He tried to take over the funeral arrangements and, convinced Michael had been poisoned, wanted yet another autopsy.
A source close to the family said: "Jermaine, La Toya and his wife Katherine all told him he had no control over the clan any more."
But La Toya and sister Janet have also have paid £100,000 so Joe - who Michael claimed beat him as a child - can be guarded around the clock after receiving DEATH THREATS.
The source added: "There are some very, very crazy Michael fans out there who blame him for what happened."
